    The planets aligned early on in the year for @oorooaustralia_ with a wonderful creative meeting that took place around Christmas with Darwin artist /designer Anna Reynolds and Melbourne Milliner Possum Ball, who now happens to be the President of the Milliners association, Congratulations Maree.
    I've known Darwin designer @artistannareynoldswhilst living in the NT and love her designs and electric energy, we have been discussing projects and now we are making it happen. 
    All three of us love art and fashion so quality, beauty, a point of difference being wearable and telling a wonderfully Australian made story are the values behind the collaboration.
    I knew I wanted to work with @possumballmillinery the minute we stepped onto that BBQ boat on Corroboree Billabong NT our inspiration for the collaboration was sealed spending the day cruising the waterways of the NT.
    Possum announced at the Williamstown ladies luncheon that she was going to work on an Australian theme in 2019 featuring the Aboriginal textiles in the Ooroo range matching the handbags and clutches. We have developed some more relaxed street style pieces that will work beautifully for Spring carnival but can also be all year round wardrobe staples.
    One of the textiles has been recently purchased from Central desert Art centre @ikuntjiartists the rest of the textiles were in stock or offcuts proving from little things (lengths of textile) big things grow as you can see in the stunning launch of our range.
    The hat and bag combinations crafted so far are available by messaging Ooroo Australia and be assured your purchase is one of a kind work of art featuring @merrepenarts #tiwidesigns@injalakarts @ikuntjiartists each design is accompanied by a story card explaining the artist, country and culture we are planning on some open days in Williamstown or private appointments leading up to the Australian Spring Fashion season and Anna is working on some dresses to join the collaboration very soon.
